Heads Up strives to provide high quality canine training and practice opportunities. The instructors share a pursuit of knowledge and skill sets related to training and trialing their dogs. Class offerings and instruction reflect the belief that there is no “one size fits all” when it comes to dogs and our team covers a broad spectrum of needs. As demonstrated in the facility amenities, class instruction, seminars, events and fun matches we are confident you will look forward to “the next time” as soon as you drive off the grounds.

Helena Kennel Club Obedience Trial
Founding partner DEB KILLPACK transitioned from equines to canines after an injury necessitated the help of a service dog. Enter LUKE…Deb’s canine partner who she personally trained as a service dog. This extensive training lead Deb to turn her focus to training Luke in canine competition disciplines like obedience and rally. Then came the discovery of instinct sports…more specifically the world of Barn Hunt, NASDA and SCENT WORK! Over 44 titles later, Luke is working at Master and above level in multiple disciplines. In 2019, Deb found the perfect location and broke ground on the Heads Up facility, bringing to reality a premiere dog training facility in Helena to support all things canine.
